Republic of Congo REDD+ Day

GAF AG has the pleasure to support the government of the Republic of Congo in organizing the “Republic of Congo REDD+ Day” during the 17th meeting of the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties scheduled for Durban.

The event will take place on the 06^th of December 2011 in the Pavillion Hotel, 15 K E Masinga Road, Durban beginning at 9 am. The Republic of Congo REDD+ Day has the main objective to enhance and intensify the international visibility of the Republic of Congo’s REDD+ process; demonstrate the political will and commitment of the Congolese government to the REDD+ process; demonstrate key achievements of the national REDD+ readiness activities and seek further technical and financial support for the Congolese REDD+ process. The event will take place under the high patronage of the Minister of Sustainable Development, Forest Economy and Environment, H. E. M. Henri Djombo.
